The service is based on a unique link. The note is only accessible via the link, so make sure to save it somewhere safe.
You can also create and edit notes directly through our CLI tool, without ever opening a browser. You can find the CLI tool on GitHub at https://github.com/dejansabados/notedux.
The token is stored in your browser session, so after reopening your browser, the homepage will usually offer you the option to reopen your previously saved note.
Your note is accessible only through its unique link, which makes it simple and private for everyday use. Treat the link as something personal and avoid sharing it unless you intentionally want others to access the note. If you share the link, anyone who has it will be able to open the note and edit it, so share it only with trusted people when needed.
Do not store highly sensitive information such as passwords or payment details. On shared or public computers, consider clearing your browser history and cookies after use to remove traces of access from the device or use private browsing mode in the browser.
The service and tool is free for use. Notes are kept while they are actively used and deleted after inactivity.
